Building the Brand Behind Legends Corner

We worked with Sol Campbell to build the brand behind Legends Corner, from wordmark and visual system to a flexible identity ready for podcast, social, and broadcast.

Sol Campbell is one of English football's most decorated defenders, a Premier League and FA Cup winner, and a fixture of England's national side. Legends Corner is his new venture: a documentary and conversation platform built around the people who've shaped sport, and the icons reshaping culture beyond it.

Bold Idea, Blank Canvas

The project came to us through Sol's wife, the acclaimed interior designer Fiona Barratt-Campbell, who'd worked with us before. Sol arrived with the vision and the name. What he didn't have was the brand to carry it. Legends Corner needed to do two jobs at once: feel credible enough to sit alongside elite guests, and bold enough to cut through a crowded streaming landscape. The system also had to stretch, from covering the core show (with a launch line-up including Christian Vieri, Andy Cole, and Dwight Yorke) and Legends Corner Plus, the strand that pushes beyond football into wider cultural icons.

Designing the Corner Where Conversations Happen

This was a hands-on collaboration from day one. Sol wanted to be in the room for every meaningful decision, and the brand is sharper for it. We built the identity around a single idea: the corner is where the conversation happens. That gave us a wordmark, a corner mark (an L-shape with a circle reading as both microphone and ball), and a flexible graphic system of four reusable elements, the L-shape, the circle, arrows, and a repeat pattern, all designed to work with or without the wordmark present. The colour palette is engineered for screens: the green core anchors the brand in credibility and depth, with Honey, Volt, and Ignite as accents to cut through crowded feeds. Dela Gothic One handles headlines and featured numbers; DM Sans covers body and UI. Every guest is shot as a cutout portrait with a monochromatic green wash, so anyone from any shoot slots into the system without restyling.

The Result: A Brand Ready for the Spotlight

A complete brand toolkit ready for launch across podcast, social, broadcast, and merch. One identity that holds both Legends Corner and Legends Corner Plus, sharp enough for elite guests and loud enough for a crowded feed.

I came to Everything Connected with an idea and a name. What they gave me back was a brand that actually feels like the show I wanted to make. They listened, they pushed back when they needed to, and they let me stay in the room for the decisions that mattered. That's rare.
