Ennio Morricone: A Decade of Brand Amplification
Ennio Morricone is widely regarded as one of the world’s most prolific and celebrated film composers, having composed over 500 film scores in his lifetime. His soundtracks are iconic; they have a uniquely innovative sound, mixing diverse musical styles that captivate audiences worldwide. No matter the film genre, his music consistently enhances the storytelling. And beyond his celebrated film work, Morricone also explored various other forms of music.

Everything Connected had the incredible opportunity to work with the Ennio Morricone brand for a big, ten-year project. We weren't just doing one thing, either; our work spanned tonnes of areas, from his world tours, including that amazing ‘60 Years of Music’ tour, to various commercial projects. This involved creating a whole range of stuff, from tour programmes and books to all sorts of digital content.

The Challenge
The real challenge for Everything Connected was figuring out how to create a brand that captured everything about Ennio Morricone. It had to reflect his incredible legacy and the impact he had on both film and music, while also appealing to a really diverse audience. This meant reaching classical music buffs who loved his more serious compositions and all the fans drawn to his famous film scores. Getting that balance right was key to really showing off all the different sides of Morricone’s talent and growing his global fanbase.

The Strategy
To tackle that challenge, Everything Connected created a wide range of creative asset to really boost the Ennio Morricone brand. We covered pretty much everything, from developing a strong and consistent brand identity to making exciting tour marketing materials and eye-catching merchandise. We also built a user-friendly website, made some cool video content, and launched impactful ad campaigns. Some of our most notable work included designing and producing visually stunning tour programs and really detailed books that gave people a deeper look into Morricone’s creative process and musical journey. And we created tonnes of engaging digital content that got more people interacting with his work online. We also designed apparel and video graphics, making sure his brand looked iconic everywhere.


Solution and Impact
The collaboration between Everything Connected and Ennio Morricone was a resounding success, significantly increasing brand awareness and audience engagement globally. The agency's well-considered plan and creative execution were key in expanding Morricone's appeal to new demographics and generations of music enthusiasts. In addition, Everything Connected's work amplified the impact of Morricone's '60 Years of Music' tour, which achieved widespread acclaim and attracted 250,000 attendees across 25 cities in 20 countries. Following Morricone’s passing, Everything Connected was entrusted with developing a distinct graphics package and identity for 'Ennio Morricone, The Official Concert Celebration,' a testament to the enduring trust and partnership established with the Maestro's family. This project further cemented Morricone’s legacy, ensuring his remarkable musical contributions continue to be celebrated and appreciated by audiences around the world.
