ABRSM Website

From Brand to Browser: Redesigning ABRSM’s Digital Presence

ABRSM partnered with Everything Connected for a website redesign, after we’d successfully guided them through a brand refresh.

We enhanced ABRSM’s website with a fresh, user-friendly design, developing an engaging Drupal-based platform that celebrates music and invites users to explore.

The Challenge

ABRSM’s website was difficult to navigate and was failing to connect with its diverse audience, despite the organisation’s rich musical legacy and fresh, inclusive vision for the future.

The Strategy

ABRSM’s Chief Executive, Chris Cobb, worked closely with us, responding to user feedback about the site’s complexity. We launched a new website that upgraded the user experience to reflect ABRSM’s musical excellence.

Solution and Impact

ABRSM’s new website is much easier and more accessible for users now, and we've given their brand a serious refresh that gets across their rich history and forward-thinking ideas. With the 'A Life With Music' tagline, they've broadened their reach, and the redesign has won some great awards: an ‘Excellence Award’ at the Web Excellence Awards and recognition for ‘Brand Redesign’ by the World Brand Design Society. The main goal was to make music education more accessible, and we achieved that together. “We chose Everything Connected because we felt they’d challenge us to be bolder and more creative. What we hadn’t expected was to find a genuinely collaborative partnership." Eleanor Hampton, Director of Marketing & Communications

The new ABRSM Drupal website not only delivers and brings the new brand and digital design system to life, but also represents a more modern, accessible and intuitive touchpoint. Technically, it has a range of new capabilities built to deliver a first-class digital experience. ABRSM said, “Our new website will help our existing audiences to find the information and support they want more easily. But we also think it’s important that we reach new audiences, to help more people engage and make progress with music.
