Global Merchandising is the world’s largest independent entertainment merchandising company, with headquarters in London and Los Angeles. Representing some of the biggest names in music and entertainment, the business delivers end-to-end brand and merchandise solutions, from product design and licensing to eCommerce and live tour support. With a diverse audience of rights holders, retailers, licensees and partners, Global Merchandising needed a digital presence that matched the scale and creativity of its offer.

The Challenge: From Outdated to Outstanding

Global Merchandising approached Everything Connected with a clear brief which was to modernise their website and give the brand a digital home that reflected its reputation and ambitions. The existing site lacked visual impact, was difficult for internal teams to manage, and failed to communicate the full breadth of services or client roster. From a branding and usability perspective, it undersold the company’s capabilities and failed to support inbound enquiries effectively. The goal was to transform the site into a compelling, easy-to-navigate showcase that would support marketing, commercial outreach and day-to-day operations.

Our Strategy: Showcase, Simplify and Scale

Our work began with a full audit of Global Merchandising’s brand touchpoints, content requirements and user needs. We restructured the site architecture to better serve its multiple audiences — from rights managers and prospective partners to internal departments. The visual design was refreshed to elevate the brand, placing high-quality artist imagery, product shots and case studies at the forefront. We implemented a flexible, easy-to-manage CMS to give the internal team full control of content updates. Integrated enquiry forms were optimised to route incoming leads to the correct teams, and a modular design system was developed to ensure future scalability across services and updates.

The Outcome: A Platform as Strong as the Brand

The new Global Merchandising website confidently repositions the business with a refined digital identity and a significantly improved user experience. The redesigned platform has driven a measurable increase in engagement, with users spending more time exploring content thanks to clearer navigation and richer visuals. Enquiry volumes have grown substantially, aided by intuitive form logic and smarter internal routing. Mobile performance has also improved dramatically, ensuring a consistent and seamless experience across all devices.
